You have a choice. The Democrats and Republicans continue to practice partisan politics in Sacramento. The time they spend disrespecting each others party has proven to inhibit their ability to legislate. Matt Monica will unify the 37th District. We must have less government and realistic priorities. You will know where I stand on issues.
For example:
- Economic recovery based on small business incentives, restructuring the tax system and cost effective health, welfare and human services
- Jobs based on payments to companies who hire new employees and worker training programs;
- Adequate funding for education based on the implementation of privately run state prisons (will save billions)
- Remember, as of today's date, I guarantee the voters I will never vote for a tax increase in any category
- Advocate for Pro-life and traditional marriage
- Adequate funding for public safety including law enforcement and fire protection by cutting wasteful spending in state agencies

I would like to thank all who have shown their support during our campaign. With your help we did it! We will be on the ballot in June. Let's show the nation that money does not trump democracy and that our state senate seat will not go to the highest bidder! It is time for a man of the people who will represent the 37th district of California with sensible ideas that work. Thank you again and I look forward to seeing you at the ballot box on June 8th!

These are difficult economic times for all of us. Sacrifices must start in Sacramento. If elected, I will donate 50% of my Senate salary back to the 37th District (25% for education in Riverside County and 25% for Riverside County's recovery).
Together we will make the 37th the Lighthouse Senate District.
